System Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Windows 10/11 (64-bit) or macOS 10.15+
- 4GB RAM (8GB recommended)
- 2GB free disk space
- Internet connection
- Interactive Brokers account (for live data)
Setup Process
Once available, here's how to get started with SpreadSearch Desktop:
Sign up at interactivebrokers.com and complete account verification (1-2 days). Minimum $2,000 deposit required.
In IB Account Management, enable "US Securities Snapshot and Futures Value Bundle" ($10/month) and "US Equity and Options Add-On Streaming Bundle" ($4.50/month). Accept data agreements.
Download IB Gateway from Interactive Brokers website. Install and configure API access (Settings → API → Enable Socket Clients, Port 4001).
Download the SpreadSearch installer for your operating system. Run installer and enter your license key (from your SpreadSearch account).
Launch SpreadSearch. The app will auto-detect your IB Gateway connection. Click "Connect" and you're ready to scan!
